Installing on a Mac
Open the .dmg and drag Game DJ into your Applications folder. That's it. The app is signed and notarised by Apple, so it opens without any security warnings.
Installing on Windows
Run Game-DJ-0.1.8-setup-x64.exe and follow the installer. The Windows build isn't code-signed yet, so SmartScreen may warn you the first time — click More info → Run anyway to continue. Everything else works the same as on a Mac.
What you need
On a Mac: macOS 11 (Big Sur) or later. There are separate builds for Apple Silicon (M1–M4) and Intel Macs — pick the one that matches your Mac above. If you're not sure, open the Apple menu → About This Mac and check the chip.
On Windows: any 64-bit Windows 10 or 11 machine.
Updates
Game DJ updates itself. New versions download quietly in the background and install when you restart the app, so you're never the one chasing a download link before a game.
The trial
The 14 days start the first time you open the app, and nothing is locked while they run. When they're up, subscribe from inside the app — the Buy button opens a secure Paddle checkout and the app activates itself the moment payment clears.
